The GoFundMe's goal is $3 million.

The "Musgrove Family Fund" was organized by Brandee Mulligan and currently has a goal of $3 million.

"I've decided to raise the goal of this fundraiser since this process has been extended, so is the time Paula and Mike will remain away from their home, continuing to carry the costs that come with being there for their daughter every day," Mulligan wrote on the page.

Lindsay Clancy's case resulted in a mistrial after almost six weeks in court.

"The original purpose of this fundraiser hasn't changed — it's simply to take one thing off their plate while they continue to show up for their family. If they have to keep showing up longer, I want to make sure the support does too," she added.

"Mike and Paula are the named beneficiaries of this GoFundMe and receive the funds directly. I do not have access to the money. The fundraiser was established with their knowledge and consent, and Lindsay's attorney, Kevin Reddington, is aware of it," the post noted.

Lindsay Clancy strangled her three kids in 2023.

A GoFundMe spokesperson confirmed to the New York Post that the page is “verified," adding “all funds will go to Mike Musgrove as the intended beneficiary of the fundraiser.”

Mulligan, 42, told Daily Mail recently she did not contact the Musgroves initially when she created the fund, and she “did it without even asking permission.”

She noted she wanted to launch the fundraiser because she felt like she needed to help out Clancy's case in some way.

"I just was one of the millions of people watching the case, and I was like, what can we do? And so, I put it together and the response has been overwhelming. There's so many people that want to support it and it's been incredible," she said.

Lindsay Clancy was paralyzed following her apparent suicide attempt.

Clancy's case was declared a mistrial on Friday, September 4, after the jury remained deadlocked. The 36-year-old strangled her three children — Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, Callan, 8 months — at her home in Duxbury, Mass., in January 2023.

She then attempted suicide by cutting her wrists and neck and jumping from a second-story window, with her injuries leaving her paralyzed from the waist down.

Despite Clancy not disputing she killed her children, she was prosecuted for three counts of murder and pleaded not guilty in a trial that lasted almost six weeks beginning on July 20.

Her defense team argued she suffered from postpartum psychosis and bipolar disorder, therefore lacking criminal responsibility.
