Mariska Hargitay Uses Crutches On Set Of 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit' With Christopher Meloni
Mariska Hargitay won’t let anything stop her from showing up for work 一 even a broken ankle.
The 57-year-old was spotted on set of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit with crutches in tow as she got back to filming.
Hargitay reportedly slipped on rainy pavement while leaving the screening of Black Widow in the Hamptons on July 2.
“Mariska was rushing to leave the screening to welcome guests to her home," an insider told Page Six , "and took a tumble on the slick rainy street outside the movie theater.”
“She was taken to Southampton Hospital by ambulance with her husband Peter Hermann. She stayed there for several hours and ended up with a bandaged leg. She didn’t make it back to her house until after midnight when the party had mostly wound down."
The Golden Globe-winning actress appeared back on set wearing a navy floral midi dress with a red ribbon belt. Her right foot sported an ankle cast, while her left foot rocked a Jordan sneaker.

Meanwhile, Christopher Meloni — known for portraying fan favorite Elliot Stabler — was also hard at work.
Meloni left fans heartbroken after his departure from the original show in 2011, but fans are loving the reprisal of his old role in the new spinoff.
During her day on set, Hargitay also reportedly teased the upcoming season of SVU, which originally premiered in 1999.
“SUV, 23, it’s happening! Lights, camera, action!,” she yelled in a video posted to her Instagram story.
The first season of Law & Order: Organized Crime premiered in April, and season two is set to debut in late September.
