Meghan Markle Reveals She & Prince Harry 'Snuck Out In Halloween Costumes' To A Post-Apocalyptic Themed Party Before Announcing Their Relationship
Meghan Markle made a surprising revelation about her relationship with Prince Harry before the royal couple went public with their romance.
According to a sneak-peek of the 40-year-old's appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Markle revealed that she and Harry once secretly attended a Halloween party.
"He came to see me in Toronto and our friends and his cousin [Princess] Eugenie and now her husband Jack [Brooksbank], they came as well and the four of us snuck out in Halloween costumes to just have one fun night on the town before it was out in the world that we were a couple," the Duchess of Sussex told DeGeneres.
"We had all this very bizzare costuming on," Markle laughed. "And we were able to just have one fun final night out."
The brunette beauty told the talk show host that she and her husband stayed home this Halloween. "We wanted to do something fun for the kids and the kids were just not into it at all," Markle shared.
According to the Suits alum, their son, Archie, dressed up as a dinosaur but he only wore the costume for a few minutes. Their daughter, Lilibet, was dressed as a skunk, "like Flower from Bambi," Markle said.

Markle also discussed her book, The Bench, with DeGeneres. "I wrote this originally as just a poem for my husband on Father's Day and it was about my observation of him and him being a dad which was the most beautiful thing to watch," she explained.
"That was really the intention of it," Markle said. "Then once it was shared with a couple of friends and people we were close with they said 'no, this resonates for me too because it feels really inclusive and there's representation and it's just a sweet love story between a family' so I said 'okay, let's turn it into a children's book.'"
Markle said she made sure to show the "softer side of masculinity" and the "softer side of fatherhood" in the book. The author wanted "everyone to see themselves inside these pages."
"I remember as a little girl, you didn't always see someone who looked like you," she revealed, "and I felt that was really important to have everyone's story feel like it was unfolding on those pages for them."
Meghan and Harry reportedly met on a blind date in 2016. The pair tied the knot two years later. They welcomed Archie in 2019 and Lilibet in June.
The interview will air on Thursday, November 18.
