Fans of the popular MTV reality series remember the Baltimore native from 16 and Pregnant season 1, which followed her troubled relationship with her boyfriend, Derek Taylor, and her pregnancy with their daughter, Evie.
Jordan's family notoriously did not approve of her relationship with the father of her child, and kicked her out of the house after she refused to break up with him. The young couple struggled with homelessness throughout her pregnancy.
Sometime after the show, the pair broke up, and Jordan's father and stepmom assumed guardianship of Evie. Derek's mother also shared temporary custody of the toddler in 2015 as the mom-of-one battled addiction and mental health issues.
In 2017, Jordan was reportedly working as a dancer at a strip club and still battling the demons of drug addiction when she was arrested twice for cocaine and heroin possession.
The former teen mom made an effort to turn her life around after her arrests. Jordan celebrated being one year sober in January, 2021, only one year before her death.
