Machine Gun Kelly brought a very special +1 to the 2021 American Music Awards: His 12-year-old daughter Casie.
The dynamic duo wore matching black ensembles to the fan-voted award show, held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, November 21.
The “Bloody Valentine” rapper, 31, rocked a long black shirt adorned with silver studs, a spike necklace and black slacks. The pre-teen stunned in a long black dress with cut-outs.
Kelly (real name: Colson Baker) shares Casie with his ex, Emma Cannon.
In 2017, The Dirt actor opened up about how his career as a touring musician impacted his role as a father.
"I was there every day for her for the first two years of her life and that was before I was anybody," he told podcast host Dana Cortez at the time. "Then all of a sudden, that fame button hit and then we started hitting the road and so from two [years old] on, I wasn't there ... Essentially, I came back when she was four and she was damn near like, 'who are you?'"
Admitting it was a "dark" time, MGK continued: "I didn't even know if anything was ever going to work out ... Switch hit, me and her fell so deeply in love and became the best of friends. I started really finding that she loves being around my work, loves being around this stuff, so like we ended up just going so hard."
"A girl will only take so much and she'll leave me," the Houston native — who is currently dating Megan Fox — added, "but like this one, that's for life, that's real love."
It’s likely Casie was one of the loudest cheering her father on as he took home the award for Favorite Rock Artist.
