For NFL star George Kittle and his wife, Claire, working together is a family affair — but keeping their relationship at the center of it all means knowing when to put business aside.
The couple, who has continued to build their creative partnership with Zenni Optical, recently expanded their collaboration with the launch of the refreshed George Kittle x Zenni Fall Collection. Inspired by their fast-moving lifestyle, the latest collection brings together George's performance-driven perspective and Claire's fashion-forward eye, with frames designed to transition seamlessly from everyday moments to more elevated occasions.
But behind the eyewear, campaigns and busy schedules, the Kittles have found a way to make working together work for their marriage, too.
"Communication is everything," Claire tells OK! during an exclusive interview. "We make sure we're always listening to each other and respecting each other's perspectives. At the same time, we also know when to put work aside and just enjoy being together."

'Having fun is a huge part of our relationship,' Claire Kittle shared of her and George Kittle's marriage.
For the couple, that last part is especially important. "Having fun is a huge part of our relationship, and we try not to lose that even when we're working on a project," the NFL WAG notes.
That philosophy has come in handy as the pair juggle football, fashion, business ventures, travel and plenty of other commitments. When they do get downtime, they prefer to make it count — often by opening their home to the people they love.
"We're definitely the kind of people who love having everyone over," Claire says. "Creating a space where friends and family can come together, relax, and stay awhile is one of our favorite ways to spend time."
The couple also makes room for nights out whenever their schedules allow. "We also love catching a concert whenever we can because it's one of the few times we both get to completely unplug and just have fun together," the brunette beauty adds. "Life gets busy, but making time for those experiences is what keeps us connected."
Cheering Each Other On

George and Claire Kittle reflected on the NFL WAGs' 'Sports Illustrated Swimsuit' runway debut.
That same support extends to their individual careers. Claire made her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit runway debut this year, a milestone she says represented both personal growth and a new level of confidence.
"It was such a meaningful moment for me because it represented stepping outside my comfort zone and embracing a new level of confidence in myself," she reflects. "Walking that runway was a reminder that growth often comes from saying yes to opportunities that feel a little intimidating, and I'm really proud that I did."
The experience was made even more special by having her husband of more than 6 years in her corner.
"George was my biggest supporter from day one," the social media star gushes. "He always reminds me to enjoy the moment and believe in myself, and having that kind of encouragement made the experience even more special."
For the San Francisco 49ers star, watching his wife pursue opportunities that excite her has been one of his proudest moments.
"Watching Claire chase opportunities that genuinely excite her has been incredible," he praises. "Whether it's Sports Illustrated, building our collection with Zenni or everything else she's taken on, I'm proud because she works incredibly hard and stays true to herself."
And while the NFL tight end has always known Claire was driven, he says her resilience is something he's come to appreciate even more over the years.
"No matter what's in front of her, she approaches it with grace and determination, and I admire that more every year," he declares.
Claire feels the same way about George, particularly when it comes to the way he celebrates the people around him.
"As we've built a life together I've really come to appreciate how thoughtful and supportive he is," she mentions. "He's the first person to celebrate other people's successes, and that's something I admire so much."

A Collaboration That Feels Personal

George and Claire Kittle recently launched their new fall collection with Zenni Optical.
Their ability to appreciate each other's strengths also plays a major role in their work together. The new George Kittle x Zenni Fall Collection was inspired by the reality of their day-to-day lives, with the couple aiming to create eyewear that works across all the different settings their schedules demand.
"This campaign was inspired by the way we actually live our lives," George explains. "We're constantly moving between football, work, travel, events and downtime, so we wanted to showcase eyewear that fits seamlessly into all of it."
For Claire, whose personal style has become increasingly influential, fashion was a key part of the creative process.
"I've become much more intentional about fashion over the last year, and I wanted that to come through in the collection," she says. "I was thinking about versatility just as much as style, choosing frames that could elevate an outfit but still feel effortless enough to wear every day."
The result is a collection that reflects both sides of the couple — George's emphasis on comfort and function and Claire's instinct for styling and accessories.
"That's really what makes this partnership work," the athlete states. "Claire has an incredible eye for styling and how people actually wear accessories, while I think about comfort, function and confidence."
Of course, combining two strong opinions under one roof can occasionally lead to a debate or two.
"We definitely have different instincts, which actually made the process more fun," he admits. "That's what collaboration is about. We trust each other's opinions, so differing views usually lead to an even better final product."
And apparently, those creative conversations can happen anywhere — even at home.
"Plus, it's hard not to laugh when you're debating sunglasses at the kitchen table," George jokes.

Claire Kittle said she and husband George 'pushed each other to think outside our comfort zones.'
Claire agrees that the occasional disagreement never gets too serious. "We love creating things together, so even when we disagreed it was never that serious," she dishes. "We each pushed the other to think outside our comfort zones, and I think the collection is stronger because of it."
With the refreshed Fall Collection now launched, the Kittles aren't slowing down. George is focused on the upcoming football season, while Claire is continuing to grow her work across fashion and lifestyle.
"I'm excited to continue growing my work across fashion and lifestyle while taking on new opportunities that push me creatively," the influencer says.
As for their work with Zenni, she sees the latest collection as another chapter in something they've clearly enjoyed building together.
"We're really proud of what we've built with Zenni, and this collection is just the next step in that relationship," she continues. "I'm looking forward to seeing how people style the collection and can't wait to keep creating together."
For a couple balancing two careers, a growing business portfolio and a packed calendar, their secret may ultimately be less complicated than it sounds: communicate, support each other, make time for the people you love — and, whenever possible, remember to have some fun along the way.
