Nick Jonas Announces He & Wife Priyanka Chopra Welcomed A Baby Via Surrogate
Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra are parents!
The Jonas Brother, 29, announced that he and his wife, 39, have welcomed a baby into the world after nearly four years of marriage, in a short message shared via Instagram on Friday, January 21.
"We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate," Jonas wrote against an all black background while tagging Chopra in the caption. "We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much."
The new mom shared the identical message to her own Instagram account and tagged the Camp Rock actor in the post.
The proud new papa has now added to the Jonas brood which includes his brother Kevin Jonas and Danielle Jonas' daughters Alena Rose Jonas, 7, and Valentina Angelina Jonas, 5 as well as Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner's daughter Willa Jonas, 1.
The announcement comes shortly after fans speculated the couple had split after the Quantico actress had removed "Jonas" from her last name on her Instagram bio. Chopra and Jonas cleared up those rumors right away by showing up arm in arm at the The Fashion Awards in London last November.

However, the brunette beauty had also recently opened up about how being away from her hubby while working has been very hard. "This year has been really, really tough. It was really, really tough to be away from home for an entire year, especially at a time when you can't travel to see your family," the Baywatch actress explained on the on InStyle's "Ladies First With Laura Brown" podcast.
The former Miss World 2000 told Brown that she and Jonas had been apart during the pandemic with the musician in U.S. and Chopra quarantining in the U.K. while they continued their hectic work schedules.
"It just was so much uncertainty and that, to me, was terrifying of not being able to just get on a flight and travel, just in case something went wrong or something happened," the Hollywood actress continued.
"We didn't have a dramatic separation but because he was in and out, we had to be really careful. He had to quarantine, I had to quarantine whenever we saw each other at that time," Chopra shared. "And that's usually not conducive to a production schedule because you don't really have much time. You have, like, two days off."
The happy couple have yet to announce any further information surrounding their new baby's birth.
