North West explored themes of betrayal and emotional struggles in her latest single, 'Aishite,' released alongside a horror-inspired music video.
North portrayed a haunting character while walking through the halls of a school and an arcade in the music video. She embraced a bold transformation with white lipstick featuring a black skull design, black teeth, and an icy blue wig styled in pigtails.
In the first verse, she rapped, "Ayy, ain’t nobody finna save me / Ayy, and it’s drivin’ me crazy (Crazy) / Why can’t I escape? ‘Cause they chase me (They chase me) / Just love me, everyone betrays me."
She continued, "I’m seein' blood daily (Daily)/ What? And it’s drivin’ me crazy (Crazy)/ Yeah, can’t escape ’cause they chase me."
However, in another verse, North touched on feelings of isolation, rapping, "She pretend, they ain’t usin’ me again (What?) / Can’t be no one’s friend, I can’t let nobody in," before adding, "Can’t depend on anyone, the sufferin’ won’t end."

The release came shortly after North canceled her first headlining tour with Molly Santana, per Page Six. The 14-date Kimokawaii Tour was set to begin less than a week after the cancellation announcement.
Before the cancellation, North teased that fans could expect something special in the future through a since-deleted post.
"I was really excited to go on tour with Molly Santana," she told her followers while promising "something special" in the future.

North West and Molly Santana previously performed together at Rolling Loud in Miami before their planned Kimokawaii Tour was canceled.
Following the tour cancellation, per JustJared, Molly addressed her fans from her side.
She said, "To everyone who bought tickets to the tour, I sincerely apologize. I know a lot of you have taken time out of your busy schedules and spent your hard earned money planning to be there."
Before the cancellation, North and Molly had already taken the stage together at Rolling Loud in Miami in May, marking North’s first music festival appearance.
The performance came after the release of her EP, "N0rth4evr."
