Following a whirlwind of wedding celebrations, newlyweds Paris Hilton and Carter Reum escaped Los Angeles to enjoy a little alone time together.
The 40-year-old socialite shared a clip from a boat on Tuesday, November 16, writing “Honeymoon Goals” over it. Gorgeous blue water is shown as she walks the deck of the luxurious water vessel.
The duo’s escape comes a day after an explosive report surfaced revealing Hilton’s new venture capitalist hubby has a nine-year-old love child.
OK! reported, Reum fathered a child with controversial actor Mel Gibson’s ex Laura Bellizzi — the Braveheart actor adamantly denied that he was the father in 2011 — “nine years ago” and has only seen his child in person once since the day she was born.
A spokesperson for the entrepreneur immediately downplayed any thought he was a deadbeat dad, saying, “The people who this story matters to have known about it for 10 years. Carter supports this child.”

The statement continued: “While he does not have a traditional father-daughter relationship with her, he has provided for her since she was born, and will continue to do so.”
A source close to the girl noted that as photos from Reum’s and Hilton’s lavish wedding ceremony — which took place on Thursday, November 11 at a private residence in Los Angeles — emerge, the young girl is feeling “triggered” and feels “left out her father’s life.”
“Also, she saw the articles of Paris and Carter talking about starting a family. She felt tremendous rejection and felt left out,” the insider continued. “She wants to have a relationship with him.”
The girl wants to “know her daddy,” the source detailed, noting “she just wants to really complete the missing pieces of her puzzle.”
