Pete Davidson Is 'Happy' If Kim Kardashian Is Happy After The Reality Star Files To Become Legally Single, 'It Has No Bearing On Them Or Their Relationship,' Source Spills
After Kim Kardashian reportedly filed to be legally single, fans have been wondering where Pete Davidson stands on the matter.
As previously reported by OK!, the reality star is said to have filed legal documents on Friday, December 10, to become officially single and for her maiden name to be restored.
It's not clear why Kardashian filed the documents, but the move came just one day after her estranged husband, Kanye West — who recently changed his name to Ye — sang: "I need you to run right back to me. More specifically, Kimberly," during his Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert on Thursday, December 9.
In light of Kardashian's latest move in her and West's legal proceedings, an insider insisted her new flame is happy with the situation as long as she is.
"If she wants to do it, he is all for it. He [Davidson] is all about having people do things that people want to do for themselves," an insider told HollywoodLife. "Whatever makes you happy is his mentality."
"He is currently removing his tattoos and he wouldn’t want anyone to judge him for that, so why should he judge anyone for doing something that makes them feel better like a name change?" the insider added, per the outlet. "It has no bearing on them or their relationship. He’s happy if she is happy. That is his standing on it all."

Kardashian and the The King Of Staten Island star reportedly first hit it off when she hosted Saturday Night Live in October.
During her hosting stint, the SKIMS founder joked that she divorced Ye because of his "personality." The rapper later appeared on the "Drink Champs" podcast and slammed Saturday Night Live for allegedly making his estranged wife say she divorced him.
"We’re not even divorced," he declared at the time. "They ain’t no joke to me. My kids want they parents to stay together. I want us to be together."
The "All Of The Lights" hitmaker has been linked with model Vinetria following his brief fling with Irina Shayk. Though Kardashian filed for divorce from the father of her children in February, the coparents seemed to be on good terms in recent months. Kardashian showed her support for the designer at his three Donda listening parties and gave him a shoutout last week during her acceptance speech at the People's Choice Awards.
