Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Take A Bite Out Of The Big Apple With Visit To One World Observatory, 9/11 Museum See The Photos
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have landed in New York City!
The duo kicked off their trip to the Big Apple with a visit to One World Observatory at the World Trade Center on Thursday, September 23.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were joined by Mayor Bill de Blasio, his lovely wife Chirlane McCray, and their son Dante de Blasio. Disgraced Governor Andrew Cuomo’s replacement Kathy Hochel also joined the pair during the outing.
The 40-year-old former actress looked stunning in a black turtleneck with chic matching slacks. Harry looked dapper in a classic suit and tie.
It is unclear if the former royal’s brought along their two kids — son Archie, 2, and daughter Lilibet — or if they remained in California.
Earlier this week, it was announced that Markle and the 37-year-old son of Princess Diana will make an appearance at Saturday’s Global Citizen Live to discuss the importance of getting the vaccine as the ongoing coronavirus pandemic wreaks havoc on the world.
“The Global Citizen Live campaign is calling on G7 countries (the world’s wealthiest nations) and the European Union to immediately share at least 1 billion COVID-19 vaccine doses with those most in need and support calls for a waiver on COVID-19 vaccine intellectual property rights. The campaign is also calling on Pfizer, BioNTech, and Moderna to share mRNA technology with the new World Health Organization-backed transfer hub based in South Africa,” the website notes of the upcoming concert, which will feature performances by Jennifer Lopez, Coldplay, Lizzo and more.
