We may not have royalty here in the United States, but Hollywood stars certainly come close. The color purple has long been associated with kings and queen, so it's no wonder the regal shade has dominated the red carpet recently.

From soft lilacs to deep amethysts, the color can be worn on nearly every skin tone and always turns heads, whether shown on sharp suits or gorgeous gowns.
