The U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, 72, appeared alongside President Donald Trump in the White House on Monday, August 10, as the president, 80, signed an executive order aimed at reducing the number of recommended vaccines in children.

"The number of diseases universally recommended for vaccines from 17 to 11, and establishing distinct categories and recommendations based upon the scientific evidence," RFK Jr. said in a short clip of the media event shared online, as the papers in his hand visibly shook.
Critics, however, were less concerned with his comments and more focused on what they described as RFK Jr.'s "uncontrollable shaking" in the clip.

Social media didn't hold back when sharing their reactions to the clip.
"This right here is why the world now sees America as weak. RFK Jr. is shaking so much he can’t read the papers he’s holding," one observer wrote, while a second added, "How any sane person can take medical advice from him is sick. The man looks like he is having a heart attack just trying to speak."
"These dudes are advising us on 'health,'" a third said, "Between RFK Jr.'s voice and shakes and Trump falling asleep and looking like he is having a stroke, things are going great!"

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s labored breathing was compared to a Star Wars character.
RFK Jr. is no stranger to online backlash. As OK! previously reported, the federal official was mocked by critics for his strained breathing during an April meeting with Senate lawmakers.
In the clip, the father-of-six was questioned about his Make America Healthy Again agenda and his labored breathing could be heard through the microphone, prompting many online to compare him to a Star Wars character.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Suffers From Spasmodic Dysphonia

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s voice was compared to 'Darth Vader with sleep apnea.'
"He sounds like Darth Vader with sleep apnea," one critic wrote via X, while another added, "Yikes! If that's when he's awake, can you imagine what it sounds like when he's asleep?!"
"Is this not lung cancer or long-term bronchitis or permanent damage to the lungs?" a third asked. "Serious question. He sounds like a terminal patient."
RFK Jr. suffers from spasmodic dysphonia, which Dysphonia International describes as a chronic neurological disorder that "causes involuntary spasms in the muscles that open and close a person's vocal cords, resulting in a 'voice that presents with breaks and strained/strangled quality or breathy quality.'"
