She's Alive! 'Flavor of Love' Star Saaphyri Windsor Reveals She's Not Dead, Says She Was Hacked — See The Video
Saaphyri Windsor is setting the record straight.
The Flavor of Love star is speaking out to share that her Instagram account, which released a statement on Thursday, July 1, that she had passed away, was in fact hacked.
“It is with a heavy heart that we say that Saaphyri has passed away,” the counterfeit post read. “She was found today in her home, unresponsive. Please send your prayers.”
Several news outlets began covering the false announcement of her death, and even tributes and well-wishes began swarming social media.
The reality TV personality later took to Instagram to explain that she was hacked and that she is very much alive. She posted an Instagram TV video as proof, which consisted of Windsor squashing the frustrating rumors.
“First and foremost, as you can see, I’m alive,” she said in the video. “I might look a little busted, but my a*s is here.”
She also used the video to call out users who were leaving comments saying that she faked her death on purpose.

“Anybody that knows me, knows I would NEVER do some Sh*t like that, ever. Secondly, like I said, I don't know who hacked into my phone and why that's what they would wanna put on there, but it happens, It happens to everybody," she said.
"I've never been hacked before, and I wouldn't have even known if my homebody didn’t come to my house and was like ‘yo’ and looked like he saw a ghost when I answered the door,” she recounted.
“There’s nothing that could make me wanna tell somebody i’m mother f**king dead. Ain’t nothing in this world to make me say some s**t like that.”
Windsor was clearly annoyed and angered by the entire situation, but she did note that there was a silver lining of the hacking.
“What I am happy about is that people do care and I truly from the bottom of my heart love the fact that people do care and that you guys were really concerned. But all my friends were concerned,” she said in the nearly 10-minute long video.
Windsor, whose birth name is Chijuan Castro, is known for her notable appearance on Flavor Of Love back in 2006 as well as her return on Flavor Of Love Girls: Charm School in 2007, where she won the title of “Charm School Queen.”
