Sam Hunt is under fire following his wife's recent divorce filing.
Hannah Lee Fowler — who has been married to the country singer since 2017 — officially filed divorce papers, in which she accused her estranged hubby of infidelity, causing his fans to become grossly upset over Hunt's alleged actions.
In the legal docs, Fowler claimed the "Make You Miss Me" singer was "guilty of inappropriate marital conduct" and "adultery," causing their marriage to ultimately crumble. To make matters worse, the Alabama Native also revealed in the filing that she's pregnant with Hunt's child.
"The husband is guilty of such cruel and inhuman treatment or conduct toward the spouse as renders cohabitation unsafe or improper," the docs read, as OK! learned.
In light of the infidelity allegations against Hunt, his fans are now unleashing how they really feel by leaving disapproving comments on an old Instagram photo of the former couple.
The comment section on a post of a throwback photo of Fowler giving Hunt a kiss on the cheek is now flooded with disparaging messages, including one from a follower who branded the country crooner "trash."

One comment read: "Who cheats on their pregnant wife?! Wishing her so much better," while another user wrote: "You definitely don't deserve her. I heard the rumors and thought there was no way. I am so so so disappointed."
As OK! reported, Fowler is expected to give birth to the pair's new baby sometime in May and is seeking primary custody, as well as child support payments, according to the divorce filing.
It's still unclear whether the couple has a prenuptial agreement established, as Fowler requested "the parties be awarded their respective separate property," in the docs. She is also asking for "transitional alimony, rehabilitative alimony and alimony in the future."
The "Breakup In a Small Town" singer has already been on thin ice with his fans in recent years after he was arrested in 2019 for driving under the influence. The CMT award-winner was charged with a DUI charge, to which he pleaded guilty. He was originally sentenced to 11 months and 29 days in jail, although the ruling was later reduced to 48 hours, which he served at the DUI Education Centers.
The artist ended up losing his license and was ordered to complete an alcohol safety course, in addition to losing the support of many of his fans following the incident.
