Sarah Jessica Parker opened up about one of the biggest misconceptions fans have about her — and it's kind of hilarious.
The star got candid about all sorts of topics in a new rapid-fire Q&A with British Vogue.
Fans Always Think This One Thing About Sarah Jessica Parker

Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw.
In terms of the misconception that comes up all the time from fans, Parker said, "That I’m Carrie."
The actress was referring to her iconic role as Carrie Bradshaw in the series S-- and the City and its accompanying movies, as well as in the show's recent reboot And Just Like That...
Carrie, who is the main character in the shows and movies, is a fashion aficionado and magazine columnist whose love life is the subject of much discussion — both in the fictional world and in the real one.
Though she's a beloved character, in recent years there have been many memes made about Carrie's relative self-centeredness, so it's no wonder SJP would want to make sure people know she's a different person from the character she plays.
Some Fun Facts About SJP

SJP is a real New Yorker.
In the same interview, the starlet answered a bunch more fun questions.
For example, she shared the most New York thing about her: "I will scream 'Taxi!' day or night. I am the person who gets everyone’s taxi. I’ve been teaching my daughters how to get one and they’re like, 'We can’t scream like that.' You have to!"
She also revealed her greatest achievement. "I would share that with my husband: the family we’ve created together," she said. "My three children are good kids. We are happiest when we know we can be together, but sometimes I’m like, 'I wish you’d given me that laundry sooner!'"
