The Selling Sunset star confirmed she's dating singer G Flip during the Netflix hit's Season 5 reunion, which hit the streaming platform on Friday, May 6. "I recently have been spending a lot of time with someone that’s very important to me. Their name is G Flip. They’re nonbinary, so they go by they/them," Stause shared with host Tan France. "And they are an extremely talented musician."

The reality star further detailed how their romance came to be, sharing: “It started because I was just going to be in their video. And it’s about this chaotic love story. I come from soaps, I love acting. And with the job that we have, I don’t always get to do it. At first of course I was like, ‘Yes, let’s do that,'” per Us Weekly.

Stause made her big relationship reveal in front of her ex and boss Jason Oppenheim, 45, as well as the rest of her costars, some of whom reportedly appeared shocked by the revelation. Stause, 40, and Oppenheim, debuted their relationship on the premiere episode of Season 5, which was filmed in the summer of 2021, and went their separate ways that December. (The former couple disagreed about having kids, which was what ultimately led to them breaking up.)

Recalling working on the music video with G Flip, real name Georgia Claire Flipo, Stause spilled on the Netflix special that she had "so much fun," before teasing what fans can expect from it: "Not everyone’s going to be ready for it, but I think it’s great. I think it’s amazing. The song is amazing."

Speculation about Stause's blossoming romance began whirling around the rumor mill several months ago when eagle-eyed fans reportedly picked up on their flirty social media dynamic. The former actress' new boo added fuel to the fire days before the release of the reunion special when a Selling Sunset viewer tweeted, “@chrishell7, CHRISHELL📢 you’re too pretty to be with a mann😩,” to which the “Gay 4 ME” musician reportedly replied, “Agreed.”

Though Stause has moved on from her past relationship, her reality star ex struggled to hold back tears while recounting their breakup during the special. When asked if their relationship was just a "showmance," Oppenheim replied: "I hesitate to answer that question. I don’t want to give it any credence."

“I don’t feel the need to explain to people [what happened]," the visibly upset realtor concluded.
