Shanna Moakler Throws Shade At Travis Barker & Kourtney Kardashian's 'True Romance'-Inspired Halloween Costumes
Maybe he’s just a really huge fan? Travis Barker and his fiancée Kourtney Kardashian celebrated Halloween by honoring True Romance. But not so long ago, the Blink-182 drummer shared the same love for Quentin Tarantino’s 1993 movie with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler.
On Sunday, October 31, the 45-year-old and reality star, 42, took to Instagram to share photos of the lovebirds reenacting looks from True Romance while dressed up as the romantic crime film's lead characters, Clarence and Alabama. (Christian Slater and Patricia Arquette originally played the newlyweds on the run.)
Though the photos garnered tons of praise for their convincing portrayals, some fans — and Moakler herself — couldn’t help but weigh in. One person wrote, “This is weird seeing this was probably his thing with his ex hence his kid being named Alabama." (Barker and the 46-year-old share Landon, 18, and Alabama, 15.)
Moakler responded, "It's like an episode of Punk'd" to a fan who wrote, “Can I just say how strange I find it that Kravis and you are bonding over True Romance when that was you and his thing when you were married?” She also shared a photo to her Instagram Story that she captioned "True Romance" with Hans Zimmer's "You're So Cool" playing in the background.
Another fan commented, “[Barker's] Ex-wife literally walked down the aisle to Hans Zimmer You’re So Cool from the movie soundtrack. Does Kourtney not know this? OY.”

Earlier this year, Moakler revealed how the classic film played a pivotal role in her former romance with Barker amid news of the rocker dating Kardashian.
“What was weird is that they were posting about a movie [True Romance] that Travis and I basically bonded over. I called him Clarence in the movie. We named our daughter after the character Alabama in the movie,” Moakler told Us Weekly in May. “I walked down the aisle to ‘You’re So Cool’ from True Romance. Our first dance at our wedding was to the love song from True Romance.”
This isn't the first time Barker and Kardashian have paid tribute to their favorite film: In February, Barker debuted a new tattoo with the words “you’re so cool!” with a small heart next to it.
As her ex continues to remove all traces of their former marriage (Barker recently covered up a tattoo of the former Playboy Playmate's name) Moakler seems to be throwing herself into her rekindled relationship with ex-boyfriend Matthew Rondeau.
However, that hasn't stopped Moakler from throwing shade at Barker in the wake of his engagement news. Days after the rocker proposed to Kardashian, the former Miss New York posted a photo of herself to Instagram with a caption that read, "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn. ⚓️".
