'Succession' Star Sarah Snook Reveals She Secretly Got Married During The Pandemic Ahead Of Season 3 Premiere
Succession star Sarah Snook is married!
The 33-year-old actress revealed she is now blissfully wed to Australian comedian and longtime friend, Dave Lawson, in an interview with Australian Vogue.
"At the beginning of the pandemic last year, I got locked down in Melbourne with one of my best mates and we fell in love," the stunning redhead spilled to the outlet.
"We’ve been friends since 2014, lived together, travelled together, always excited to see each other, but totally platonic," she gushed. "We’ve just never been single at the same time. I proposed and we got married in February in my backyard."
Though the ceremony seemed to be small and intimate, the actress mentioned that costar Ash Zukerman served as witness to their nuptials on the happy day.

"It’s been a ride. There’s so much heartache and sadness in the world, but on a micro personal level, I’ve been very fortunate," she mused on the rare bit of providence the pandemic brought her personally despite all of the tragedy it caused. "There’s a really lovely grace in that without the pandemic, we might not have ended up together so quickly."
This comes as the season 3 premiere of the hit HBO drama is right around the corner, and fans are eager to see the epic conclusion to the bombshell cliffhanger that left viewers on the edge of their seats in season 2.
Snook — who has also played significant parts in Winchester, Jessabelle, and an episode of Black Mirror — is revisiting her role as the media heiress, Siobhan 'Shiv' Roy.
"I like that she’s forthright, that she speaks her own mind," the 33-year-old said, praising her character. "She believes that she’s allowed to be in any room because she could probably buy the building. She’s still waters run deep. There’s something else going on down there, like her dad, a volatility."
The These Final Hours actress also commented on the wide range of "interesting, complex, strong ... diversity of women" she's played throughout her successful career. "They often have a strength and they’re not pushovers, but there’s usually been a redeeming softness that they’re protecting. And Shiv has that as well," she added.
Succession season 3 premieres on HBO and HBOMax on Sunday, October 17.
