Ciara Miller is feeling philosophical.
After all the recent drama with West Wilson and Amanda Batula, the Summer House star opened up about her new outlook on love and dating while talking about the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars.
Ciara Miller Has a New Outlook on Love and Dating
Ciara Miller used to date West Wilson.
Following the DWTS announcement on Good Morning America on Wednesday, September 2, Miller spoke to E! News about her romantic past.
"You date the wrong people, and you give them second chances for stupid reasons. You have to go through that in order to get to where you're going," she explained.
"You're supposed to get it wrong in order to figure out who's right. It's not easy dating. But I think that that's part of the beauty in it too."
Even though things haven't gone smoothly for the reality star, she wouldn't have it any other way.
"You realize that it's life," she said. "If we were all dating experts, then we would get it right the first try, and then it would be so f---ing boring."
Ciara Miller Will Compete on 'DWTS' Season 35
Ciara Miller is paired with Brandon Armstrong.
Miller was announced as one of this year's celeb contestants, paired with pro dancer Brandon Armstrong.
Before Armstrong met Miller, he made sure to do his due diligence.
"I'm saying something to him, and he's like, 'I'm gonna be honest, I did a deep dive on you,'" Miller told E!. "I did a whole TikTok [rabbit] hole."

Ciara Miller's Drama With West Wilson and Amanda Batula
Ciara Miller is no longer friends with Amanda Batula.
Miller made many headlines in recent months over her Summer House drama involving ex Wilson and ex-best friend Batula — prompting many viewers to proclaim themselves "Team Ciara."
Miller and Wilson briefly dated in 2023, per E! News.
Then, shortly after Batula split from Kyle Cooke in early 2026, she and Wilson began dating — keeping their romance a secret from Miller and Cooke.
Cooke called Wilson's actions a "wild betrayal," and Miller ended her friendship with Batula. Wilson and Batula are still together.

Jenna Dewan, Harry Shum Jr. and more will appear on this season.
Alongside Miller, this year's exciting cast for Season 35 of Dancing With the Stars includes Save the Last Dance legend Julia Stiles, Step Up star Jenna Dewan, Jimmy Kimmel Live star Guillermo Rodriguez, Love Island alum Maura Higgins, and Savannah Bananas star Jackson Olson.
While some members of the cast had already been announced, the full list was only confirmed on Wednesday. DWTS will air starting September 15.
