Suzanne Somers' glamorous desert compound in Palm Springs, Calif., has been snatched up at the full asking price of $8.5 million.
Somers and her husband, Alan Hamel, first put their estate on the market years ago but re-listed the property in January for $8.5 million, which was a dramatic decline from its original $35 million in 2008.
And while the good-looking couple is a sight for sore eyes, nothing can compare to their luxurious and elegant home, modeled after L’oustau De Baumaniere in Provence, France.
Somers, 74, and Hamel, 84, gave up their retreat — after they both took a horrible fall down the steps, which resulted in neck surgery for Somers — and plan to build a smaller residence nearby. While their new abode is under construction, the power couple will remain in their current home.

The balance between the couple's love for nature and elegance can be seen in the design throughout the enchanting compound.
The property includes five separate buildings and 10,000 square feet of pavilions.
Only steps away from the main building is the stone guest house, designed in the 1920s.
In addition to the manicured lawn and exceptional living space, the compound includes outdoor dining space and an outdoor amphitheater, which was carved into the mountain, that seats 50 and has a dance floor.
The compound offers numerous places, both indoors and outdoors, for some peace and quiet.
The main estate boasts the master suite, dining room that seats 32, living room, separate two-room kitchen (because one is obviously not enough) and a 2,000-bottle wine cellar.
The elegant formal dining room is the perfect place for an intimate gathering with Hollywood's finest.
Natural light seeps into the dramatic bedroom surrounded by stone.
The double-wooden doors lead to an enchanting bathroom off one of the seven bedrooms.
Who wouldn't want to end their day soaking in the free-standing tub with views of the serene property?
To add the cherry on top of the unprecedented estate, the home offers a pool, spa, hiking trails and a natural waterfall that flows down the hillside.
