The View paid tribute to Dolly Parton after the country superstar's sudden death on Tuesday, August 25.
One day after she passed away from cancer at age 80, the ABC show's Instagram account posted several photos of Parton on the program over the years.
The pictures included a shot with Whoopi Goldberg and a few older snaps alongside the series' late creator, Barbara Walters.
'Rest in Peace, Dolly'
Dolly Parton appeared on 'The View' numerous times.
Past co-hosts, such as Sheryl Underwood and Meghan McCain, as well as current ones like Joy Behar and Sara Haines, were included as well.
"Looking back over our time with the icon and legend, Dolly Parton. 🦋 Rest in peace, Dolly," the show captioned the upload.
During an interview on 'The View,' Dolly Parton encouraged people not to judge each other.
Former co-host Debbie Matenopoulos recalled what it was like filming the show with the bubbly blonde.
"I remember meeting her that day for the first time and like it was yesterday. Dolly was pure joy and love. It was like magical stardust was sprinkled every where she walked. She made everyone feel like we were all her best friends. She was so funny and warm and smart and charming," she gushed. "Oooffff my heart hurts. A world without Dolly just doesn’t seem right 🙏🕊️💔😞."

The superstar passed away from cancer at age 80.
The day after the music icon passed, the show shared a clip of Parton expressing how she tries to spread love and acceptance.
"I just love everybody. I just try to find the god light in people and I try to play to that. I try not to be judgmental, because I grew up very spiritual in a church. My grandpa was a preacher," she explained. "I just think we should just love each other, not try to judge and find the good in us and pray for the bad. And just accept people as they are."
The show also uploaded a hilarious clip of Haines belting out one of Parton's tunes in front of her.
The View's Ana Navarro called the singer's death 'soul-crushing.'
Current co-host Ana Navarro made her own post on Instagram, calling Parton's death "soul-crushing. 🦋," and thanking her for "sharing your light."
Alyssa Farah Griffin posted a few of her favorite quotes from the actress, including on that read, "Find out who you are and do it on purpose."
Dolly Parton died less than a week after she was hospitalized.
As OK! reported, Parton's death was announced by her nephew in a video posted on her social media accounts.
The vocalist had struggled with her health over the last year, and on August 20, she was admitted to the hospital due to kidney and autoimmune issues, though it was soon revealed she died from a brief, private battle with cancer.
A small, private service for the Grammy winner's immediate family will be held at some point.
