According to a source, Jolie, 46, and the 31-year-old singer (real name Abel Tesfaye), who first linked up to discuss a potential project, have turned their professional relationship into a red-hot romance. “Angie’s enjoying herself and finds Abel good company,” the source dishes. “Their cozy dinners and date nights have given her a real spring in her step.”

The pair have avoided being photographed together after they were snapped leaving Giorgio Baldi in July — but it seems the crooner is done being discreet, singing about falling in love with a “movie star” in his new song, “Here We Go... Again.”

Though the source admits the “old Angie” would’ve “hated” being used as a muse, she took the lyrics as a compliment. “Since all the divorce drama with Brad [Pitt], Angie was worried she’d never be capable of dating,” adds the source. “But Abel’s made her feel sexy and alive again.”

As OK! reported, the unlikely couple was first spotted together over the summer. Though The Weeknd insisted he needed help for a charity project, "his intention all along was to have a serious relationship," with the Hollywood star, spilled a source.

It seems Jolie has had zero complaints while spending time with the singer, as the insider pointed out the 46-year-old, "has been allowing him to wine and dine her because she enjoys the attention."

And while Jolie appears to be living on cloud nine amid her new romance, her messy divorce with her ex-husband is far from a slice of paradise. The Once Upon A Time In Hollywood actor, 57, split from his ex-wife back in 2016, and their divorce was officially finalized in 2019. Since then, the former Hollywood couple has been duking it out in court over their children — and things are getting messy.

As time goes on with no apparent end in sight, Pitt is apparently hoping the coparents can somehow figure out how to be cordial with each other down the line. “Brad hopes that one day he and Angelina find a way to forgive each other and move forward, for the kids’ sakes if nothing else,” spilled a source. “He hates all the bad blood.”
