Still ringing in their Super Bowl LV victory, Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers celebrated on Wednesday, February 10, with a boat parade.
Brady may have had a little too much to drink when videos surfaced online of the quarterback throwing the Lombardi Trophy from his boat to Rob Gronkowski, who thankfully caught it, and he was helped back onto the dock when he staggered off the boat after the parade.
The 43-year-old went along with the jokes, as he began to trend on Twitter.
"Noting to see her...just litTle avoCado tequila," he wrote over a video from the parade.
This was the Buccaneers’ first Super Bowl win since 2003; they faced off against the Kansas City Chiefs, ending the game in a score of 31-9. Meanwhile, the Super Bowl last weekend was Brady’s 10th time playing the NFL's big game.
Brady joined the Buccaneers after 20 seasons with the New England Patriots to be closer to his son John, who lives on the East Coast. Brady shares the 13-year-old with ex Bridget Moynahan, and relocated to Florida with his wife, Gisele Bündchen, and their children, Vivian and Benjamin.
"We just made history in all the world," linebacker Jason Pierre-Paul said of the win. "This means so much to me, I'll do it again. We're gonna do it again."
