Tom Girardi Currently Staying At Belmont Village Senior Living Facility In Burbank Amidst Legal Troubles
Tom Girardi has found his new home while he rides out the tornado of legal scandals that surround him.
According to Page Six, the 82-year-old now resides at the Belmont Village Senior Living facility in Burbank, California after being moved from the $13 million Pasadena mansion he used to share with estranged wife Erika Girardi (Jayne).
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and the courts found out about Tom's new residence from his brother, Robert Girardi after he filed legal documents on Wednesday September 16, at the Los Angeles Superior Court.
According to court documents, the now barred attorney has been living at the facility since August 9. Tom was spotted by photographers at the Belmont, which specializes in memory care, back on August 22 but it was not confirmed that the former legal mind was living there.
As OK! previously reported in February, Robert filed a petition with the court to be given control over his brother and his brother's estate. In turn, he was appointed to be Tom's conservator of not only his estate, but also daily activities and personal care.

At the time, Robert stated in court documents obtained via People, that his brother's "short-term memory is severely compromised and, on information and belief, he is often not oriented as to date, time or place."
After having Tom go through a mental evaluation, he was then diagnosed with late-onset Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
As OK! previously reported, the one time big shot lawyer was stripped of his admission to the California State Bar.
In a sworn affidavit via Page Six that was filed in March, Long Beach forensic and clinical psychiatrist Dr. Nathan Lavid informed the courts that Tom was not mentally fit to take part in his case. “Dementia impairs his ability to understand the hearing. His emotional distress is directly related to his dementia and exacerbated by his confusion.”
