A source told Us Weekly that the actress, 48, and the television host, 55, celebrated the holiday together despite rampant reports that their 15-year-marriage is on the rocks.
"Tori and Dean spent Christmas as a family," an insider close to the couple — who share children Liam, 14, Stella, 13, Hattie, 10, Finn, 9, and Beau, 4 — told the outlet.
"They were all under one roof celebrating together," the source continued of Spelling and McDermott who reportedly "were happy" to be surrounded by the people they love.
"That's what mattered the most to Tori and Dean, was making sure their kids had a nice holiday at home together," the insider stated.

As OK! previously reported, many friends of the Beverly Hills 90210 star and the Chopped Canada host believe that the two will be making their looming split official in the new year.
"They really are trying to celebrate the holidays as a family and put aside their differences," a source spilled. But "friends think divorce can happen early in the new year."
After the Scary Movie 2 actress was spotted screaming into her cell phone outside of a lawyer's office, a source told the outlet Spelling "wants a divorce," but is reportedly nervous to go through with it.
"She feels trapped right now," an insider close to the California native explained. The source then added that the married duo "have tried counseling" and their kids "have no idea what’s going on."
During an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show in the fall, pal Whitney Cummings (who was guest hosting at the time) had asked the star if any of the split rumors were true. 'You know I’m not going to answer that," Spelling added as she remained tight lipped.
