Earlier this week, Tori Spelling and a few of her pals went out celebrate the actress' 49th birthday. And while the star looked as glam as ever, it didn't do much to distract from the fact that her ring finger was noticeably naked.
As OK! has reported, an insider claimed the mom-of-six and husband Dean McDermott, 55, are going through a "rough patch" lately, and though "it's been difficult for them," they've yet to officially comment on whether the split speculation is true.
"Things aren't great between them, but they are still attempting to work things out for the sake of their kids," the source told Entertainment Tonight.
For her birthday outing, Spelling showed skin in a crop top, bike shorts and fishnet stockings, and photos showed her taking shots and having a blast with her gal pals.
The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum admitted she and the actor sleep in separate rooms, and while another source said that "Tori is more vocal about what goes on between them ... Dean is just completely checked out."

Despite his nonchalance, the source insisted that McDermott is the one to blame for the fallout. "Dean has been caught in so many lies and infidelities over the years and Tori is just over it," explained the source. "Dean does not want to get divorced because of financial reasons, and Tori doesn't want to for the sake of their family."
One PEOPLE insider echoed that claim, insisting that Spelling has yet to pull the plug on their 15-year union out of fear of what it will do to their kids, Liam, 15, Stella, 13, Hattie, 10, Finn, 9, and Beau, 5.
"Tori doesn't want to break up the family. She thinks the kids need their dad. These are their fundamental years and they've fought to stay together for the kids," the insider shared. "Dean has a really, really good bond with the kids. He's been a stabilizing force for them. Tori still has major trust issues with Dean. And he's like, 'We moved on from that.' It's complicated and a very toxic and rocky situation."
