Leave it to sartorial superstar Tracee Ellis Ross to have an ultrachic space!
The Black-ish actress, known for her head turning red-carpet outfits, recently put her longtime California pad up for sale, offering potential buyers a good look inside. (The 2,540-square-foot spread is listed for a tad under $2.3 million, allowing Ross to still make a tidy profit given that she paid just $910,000 for it nearly a decade ago.)
In 2017, the star, 49, described the Hollywood Hills home as “warm, safe and fun,” and while her eclectic additions to the abode have been toned down for marketing photos, she’s given fans plenty of peeks inside her sanctuary over the years via social media.

Though the three-bedroom, three-bathroom property is relatively modest by celebrity standards (there’s no pool, and the black-and-white-tiled retro kitchen is devoid of a dishwasher!), Ross kept the 1930s Spanish-style space in perfect condition and outfitted it with colorful, feel-good decor guaranteed to make an impression.
Her 25-foot-long living room, which still has its original fireplace, was previously painted a welcoming shady of navy and complemented by her similarly hued sofa.
From there, several steps lead to the sunny sitting room, where an origami bird mobile, made for Ross by a friend, used to hang from a chandelier. “Everything in my house has a story,” she told the Financial Times in 2021 when asked which object she’d never part with.
“Everything is a treasure.” Indeed, other decorative touches throughout her place include vintage magazines, such as editions of French and Italian Vogues, antique souvenirs, like a cake stand from Italy, and gifts from loved ones, notably a woven basket of ferns from her mom, Diana Ross. “I love plants and I love green,” Ross explained.
So it’s no surprise the earthly, tranquil vibes continue outside, too: The lush backyard features multiple flagstone terraces, perfect for entertaining, lounging or snapping the Instagram-worthy photos we see on Ross' feed!
