Travis Kelce's head coach is setting the record straight after a viral video sparked online speculation about the NFL star's physique.
Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid dismissed the recent "dad bod" chatter while speaking about Kelce's return to training camp.
"Well, he came back in good shape," Reid said of Kelce arriving at the Kansas City Chiefs' training camp. "I know everybody's out there saying he's got the dad body and all this stuff, but he looks the same to me that he's always looked, and just playing like crazy."

Andy Reid said Travis Kelce returned to Kansas City Chiefs training camp in great shape despite recent online rumors.
He added, “So he's doing a nice job with everything. He's focused in and ready to go, and I appreciate that, when you have somebody who's been here 14 years and wants to be out there every snap... he's going to play and play hard and be aggressive and not be stopped, and that's contagious."
AI Video Fueled Online Confusion

The viral ‘dad bod’ video was AI-generated, while the original footage showed Travis Kelce with his normal athletic build.
Reid's comments comes after an AI-generated video spread across social media, appearing to show Kelce with a noticeably larger stomach while walking through Chiefs training camp on Monday, August 3.
In reality, the original footage showed the tight end with a flat stomach while wearing his official practice uniform and carrying his football helmet. The altered version digitally changed his appearance, leading to widespread discussion online.
“Because I saw the fake Travis Kelce beer gut AI practice video about 10 times this weekend … here is what Travis Kelce looks like at Chiefs camp this morning,” one X user wrote while sharing the real clip.

Fans Defended Kelce

Fans defended Travis Kelce on social media after the authentic training camp video was shared.
Fans were quick to defend the NFL star after the authentic video resurfaced.
“Thank you for the integrity to come forward against all the negativity and show a visual representation of how Travis really looks! You can also tell, respectfully, that man has been working his a-- off all summer just by those muscular legs,” one fan commented.
Another added, “Thank you for your honesty, clarity and integrity! Travis Kelce deserves it. All of the players do. This AI is nothing more than distracting and dishonest.”
“There was no way Travis would come to training camp and be out of shape. Travis is a professional athlete who takes pride in himself and gives his team 125 percent. Look at all the videos and photos the last six months then say those out of shape videos this weekend were real,” a third penned.
Kelce Is Focused on the Upcoming NFL Season

Andy Reid praised Travis Kelce's work ethic, saying the veteran remains focused and brings contagious energy to the team.
The latest buzz comes months after Kelce announced he would return for another NFL season instead of retiring.
The Chiefs star, whose new season officially kicks off on September 14, previously shared that wife Taylor Swift's passion for her own career helped inspire his decision to keep playing.
"We share the same love for what we do, and fortunately we've had this desire since we were kids in our selective professions," he said on “The Pat McAfee Show” in March. "It's amazing to see her keep going to the table, keep finding new things to write about, keep finding new melodies and, on top of that, still seeing her have that love and joy in what she does."
