Tristan Thompson Reportedly Admits To Hooking Up With Maralee Nichols 'Sporadically' For Several Months, Maintains 'We Did Not Have A Serious Ongoing Relationship' In New Docs
More details have emerged about Tristan Thompson's paternity scandal and fling with Maralee Nichols.
Though Thompson previously insisted he and his alleged third baby mama only hooked up during this 30th birthday celebrations in March, he's since admitted the pair had been hooking up for months prior, it was reported.
The baller is said to have communicated with the personal trainer via Snapchat to discuss where they would meet up to have sex, according to documents, obtained by Daily Mail.
"Contrary to Petitioner's many inferences in her declaration, we did not have a serious ongoing relationship," the Sacramento Kings player said in the new filing, per the outlet. "We saw each other sporadically between December 2020 and March 13, 2021 and did not have sexual intercourse in California during that time."
Nichols — who welcomed her baby boy on December 3 and gave him Thompson's last name — alleged in court documents that the two met up in California and had been hooking up on and off for five months before she became pregnant. Thompson allegedly offered her $75,000 in hush money to get an abortion, the outlet noted.
After Nichols filed a child support lawsuit against the athlete in June, Thompson filed his own in July, requesting that the case be handled in Texas, as he would reportedly have to pay less child support. The possible father-of-three also requested that a paternity test be done.
"Petitioner told me that she had been involved with other athletes and understood the limitations of our relationship; to-wit, that we might see each other on a sporadic basis for consensual casual sex only," the documents reportedly read. "From December 2020 through March 2021, we saw other on such a basis. We never had any telephone calls, emails, nor did we exchange text messages. We only communicated via the Snapchat application."

Thompson reportedly said he met Nichols at "someone's house" in late November or early December 2020, and that she came to his home in Los Angeles on "maybe two occasions." However, he maintained he couldn't remember ever having sex with her in California, where his then-girlfriend Khloé Kardashian lives.
"I only recall that Petitioner and I had sexual relations in March of 2021 and at no other time in 2021," he reportedly claimed. "Petitioner constantly used the term 'hook up' to describe our relationship which was the reality. I am certain that if the child is deemed to be my child that the only date of conception was March 13, 2021, because it was my birthday."
"Although Petitioner has set forth virtually every date that she contends we had sexual relations, the only date that she cannot remember having sex is on March 13, 2021, my birthday, in Houston, which is the only date that conception could have taken place leading to a delivery on December 1, 2021," the documents stated. "As I stated, our relationship was based on sex. We would not have seen each other in Houston if we were not going to have sex."
Thompson wrote that the pair did not go on dates in a "traditional sense," claiming: "There was only Snapchats of 'where' and 'what time' we would hook up and what hotels would be used," according to the court documents.
The NBA player said he used Snapchat since the app does not typically store old messages. "If either one of us would do something to try and save the message, the other party would be notified. I was never notified that Petitioner saved a message from me. Petitioner never confirmed that I was notified of her retaining messages," he explained.
Thompson alleged Nichols could "easily create a fabricated conversation with a person other than Thompson (including herself) by using two different devices and by using the contact name 'TT. There is no way to authenticate what username is sending the messages from the pictures of the Snapchat messages provided by Nichols from 'TT.''
As OK! previously reported, Nichols asked the judge that she be allowed to include "numerous electronic messages" allegedly sent from Thompson in her lawsuit. The apparent messages — which have not been verified — showed the former Boston Celtics player bribing Nichols, telling her she won't get a lot of money from him after he retires from the NBA, and declaring he won't be involved in his alleged child's life.
