One of the most fantastical fabrics, tulle can make a major impact on the red carpet. Whether presented in floaty ruffled layers or simply used as a skirted accent, this ballerina-approved detail always brings an enchanting, whimsy vibe.

The Orange Is The New Black actress made a dramatic entrance into the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards wearing a Monsoori two-tone one-shoulder, frilly tier tulle gown.

At the same event, the Busy Tonight host showed off a fresh and fabulous custom Lela Rose "Mirabelle" yellow Swiss dot point d'espirit tulle dress featuring a delicate negligee neckline and flounce hem. Sparkly Irene Neuwirth gems, a Judith Leiber clutch and Stuart Weitzman sandals rounded out her look. 

The Jojo Rabbit actress made a mesmerizing entrance at the film’s premiere wearing a Jason Wu Collection Spring 2020 "Celadon" tulle halter gown. The sweet mint hue gown featured a short, flowing train in the back, which she accessorized with Mizuki jewelry.

A pastel princess! For Starz's Outlander Season 5 premiere, the actress wowed in a Georges Hoebika Spring 2020 Couture rainbow tulle, cape gown. 

During the Cannes Film Festival, the Victoria's Secret model wore a plush, creamsicle-colored Georges Hobeika Spring 2019 Couture strapless gown, styled with vintage Boucheron jewels. 

A dark romantic! At the 2020 Brit Awards, the "Boys" singer donned a black Fendi tulle halter gown with a cut-out back, which she accessorized with a diamond choker.

At the 2020 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, the Riverdale star wore a playful and pretty Marc Jacobs Spring 2020 white floral tulle gown with exaggerated puff sleeves.

The "Dangerous Woman" singer floated down the red carpet at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards wearing a custom Giambattista Valli grey strapless, ruffle tier tulle gown and grey satin opera gloves. Kallati earrings accessorized the look.

For the 51st NAACP Image Awards, the Oscar winner chose a funky Rodarte Spring 2020 one-shoulder gown featuring a taffeta bow detail top and a tri-toned tulle layered skirt. Sheer black pearl embellished tulle gloves finished the '80s-inspired ensemble.

At the 28th Bounce Trumpet Awards, the teenage Black-ish star wore a fun Carolina Herrera Spring 2020 yellow, white and black polka-dot, tulle off-the-shoulder cape cocktail dress, which was belted at the waist. Giuseppe Zanotti sandals rounded out her look. 

Although the "red carpet" was held virtually for the 2021 SAG Awards, the Bridgeton actress still brought her fashion A-game with the help of stylist Aimee Croysdill; she wore a lavender-colored Jenny Packham Pre-Fall 2021 tier tulle gown.

The fabulous 54-year-old clearly doesn't need a red carpet to create a major fashion moment. She posed for the 'gram back in March wearing a Christian Siriano two-piece look, which included a butterfly top and dramatic tulle skirt from the designer's Pre-Fall 2021 recycled collection.
