On Thursday, May 6, celebrity stylist, fashion designer and philanthropist Urbana Chappa hosted a VIP fashion event at the Christian Louboutin boutique in Beverly Hills to celebrate the Caracaba capsule collection.
This was the first event Christian Louboutin has thrown in its new location on Rodeo Drive, which is the replica of the shoe designer's home in Prague.
"It was an honor to be asked to throw this event, we had to be very cautious with the letting people in to keep everyone safe," said Chappa. "Everyone was either vaccinated or tested prior to coming."
The stylish event supported Talia's Legacy Children's Cancer Foundation, a cause close to Chappa's heart. A few years back, she met Talia Joy Castellano, an ambitious young girl battling cancer, and helped make her dream of becoming a fashion designer come true before her passing.
Castellano became known for her fabulous beauty tutorials on her YouTube channel and was even featured on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she was bestowed the honor of becoming an honorary Cover Girl. Today, she continues to inspire millions around the world.
The event brought in $180,000 with 10% going to the foundation.
Other notable attendees included beauty influencer Josetty Hurtado, fashion designers Ryan & Walter, Basketball Wives alums Gloria and Laura Govan, former NBA star and Los Angeles Sparks head coach Derek Fisher, songwriter Poo Bear and his wife Ashley Boyd and more.

For the glamorous night, Urbana Chappa donned a purple crystal Gucci jumpsuit styled with a kaftan and crystal turban by MaryJane Claverol over her electric yellow locks. She also wore a pair of tarot houndstooth platforms from Christian Louboutin.
Chappa's love for passion and philanthropy is very dear to her heart. Saving lives through fashion is the motto she lives by.
Chappa and beauty influencer Josetty Hurtado checked out the latest styles of Louboutins during the event.
Fashion designer duo Ryan Patros and Walter Mendez, aka Ryan & Walter, rocked stylish loafers for the occasion.
The event brought out the who's who of the L.A. style scene including Almost Amazing actress Laura Govan, who wore a chic, cream-colored mini dress with asymmetrical ruffle details by Mimii London and lace-up snakeskin Christian Louboutin pumps.
Chappa shopped the boutique with songwriter Poo Bear and his wife Ashley Boyd.
Ballin! Basketball Wives star Gloria Govan and Los Angeles Sparks head coach Derek Fisher picked up red bottom styles at the event.
Chappa also celebrated with members of Talia Castellano's family, including her mother Desiree Castellano and sister Mattia Castellano, and Christian Louboutin's Mark Trevino.
