Global Citizen's Vax Live: The Concert To Reunite The World is just days away from airing — and with the stellar A-list celebrity lineup for the event, it is sure to be a can't-miss spectacle.
The concert — which was pre-taped at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium on Sunday, May 2, and will air on Saturday, May 8 — includes appearances from the biggest names in music and politics, including Prince Harry, Jennifer Lopez, President Joe Biden and more.
The mission of the concert is to "celebrate the hope" that COVID-19 vaccines will be offered to communities around the world, the Vax Live website shared. "We are calling on world leaders to step up to make sure vaccines are accessible for all so we can end the pandemic for everyone, everywhere."
Global Citizen is asking governments to pledge $19 billion to the COVID-19 Tools Accelerator (ACT-A), which is an initiative to provide 1.8 billion vaccines and tests to the world’s poorest countries by the end of 2021, OK! learned.
The concert can be watched on May 8 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC, ABC News Live, CBS, YouTube and iHeartMedia.

During the Duke of Sussex' address, he said despite the progress made in recent months, there is still a long way to go in ending the pandemic. "The vaccine must be distributed to everyone everywhere," Harry insisted. "We cannot rest or truly recover until there is fair distribution to every corner of the world."
