'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' actor Jon Bernthal has been married to his wife, Erin Angle, for more than a decade.

Jon Bernthal and his wife, Erin Angle, are going strong.
The Odyssey actor marked their 15th wedding anniversary in a September 2025 Instagram post, sharing a photo from their big day.
"If the sun refused to shine, I would still be loving you. If the mountains crumbled to the sea, there would still be you and me.I love you Lil Bird. At the end of the day, you're the whole d--- thing," he captioned the update.
During The Odyssey press tour, Bernthal told Today that Angle was not a fan of his character's hairstyle in the Christopher Nolan-directed epic action-fantasy film.
"So Chris [Nolan] got me with the double whammy with my wife," he quipped.

Erin Angle Is a Former Trauma Nurse
Jon Bernthal is married to Erin Angle.
Angle earned a nursing degree from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1998 and received her Master of Science degree in anesthesiology from the University of Southern California in 2008, according to her LinkedIn.
She worked as a nurse at several medical facilities, including the Georgetown University Medical Center, Massachusetts General Hospital, Beth Israel Medical Center and Maui Memorial Medical Center, to name a few.
She was working as a trauma nurse when she met her future husband.

Jon Bernthal opened up about his wife during 'The Odyssey' press tour.
In an interview with Esquire, The Punisher star confirmed his wife — a niece of WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle — "comes from a family of champion wrestlers."
"She understands me," he continued.
Kurt appeared in an episode of Jon's YouTube podcast, "Real Ones with Jon Bernthal," in 2022.

Jon Bernthal said he had 'never seen anyone so beautiful' when met his wife.
Erin and Jon first crossed paths at a party in Washington, D.C., in 2000.
Speaking with Men's Health in December 2018, the World Trade Center actor recalled the moment he saw his future wife for the first time.
"I came over and was just rudely messing around, and I know this is the corniest thing in the world, but when I actually saw Erin, it was literally like angels were singing," he gushed. "I had never seen anyone so beautiful."

Erin Angle and Jon Bernthal dated for about 10 years before tying the knot.
About 10 years after they began dating, Jon and Erin exchanged vows in a ceremony in Potomac, Md., in September 2010.
He described their marriage as "very aspirational," telling Esquire, "Like, I'm still begging her to go out with me, begging her to hang out with me."
Jon explained, "She's the one. I mean, I know what it's like to not have her. I know what I am without her, and it just doesn't work."

Jon Bernthal frequently uploads photos of his kids on Instagram.
The couple became first-time parents when they welcomed their son, Henry, in 2011.
They also share son Billy, born in 2013, and daughter Adeline, born in 2015.
