Maria Bartiromo has drawn renewed attention following her abrupt departure from Fox News Media.
On September 3, Fox announced it had parted ways with its longtime anchor, saying Bartiromo's departure was effective immediately.
"We thank Maria for her work over the last 12 1/2 years and wish her all the best on her next chapter," the Fox spokesperson added.
Following Bartiromo's abrupt ousting, attention quickly shifted from her television career to her longtime marriage to financier Jonathan Steinberg.

Jonathan Steinberg and Maria Bartiromo have been married since 1999.
Steinberg was born into a distinguished and influential family. He is the son of the late billionaire financier Saul Steinberg and his high school sweetheart, Barbara Herzog.
According to a 1969 TIME profile, Saul founded Leasco, a computer-leasing company, two years after graduating from the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce in 1959. He was a millionaire by 30 and a billionaire by 40, per New York Magazine.

"I believe that right now, I'm happy. I have been happy," she said. "I hope I don't have regrets for not having children at some point. I'll be honest in telling you that. I have no idea at some point if I will. But at this moment in time, I feel good about the choices that I made."
