Witney Carson confirmed Guillermo Rodriguez is her partner for season 35 of 'Dancing with the Stars.'

Witney Carson landed Guillermo Rodriguez as her Dancing with the Stars partner.
During her appearance on Good Morning America on August 17, Carson shared this news, adding, "Dude, I was so stoked. I think he is so sweet. He’s so fun. That’s exactly what I need in this season of life that I’m in, just someone who’s fun, personable."
Witney Carson confirmed that Guillermo Rodriguez is her celebrity partner for 'Dancing with the Stars' season 35.
Per People, the DWTS star also joked that she hopes to still connect with Rodriguez once he realizes that she doesn't drink "and we won’t be able to do tequila shots."
"But we can connect other ways. I’m really, I’m really excited," Carson said.
Witney Carson is a Two-Time 'Dancing with the Stars' Champion
Witney Carson said she is excited to join Guillermo Rodriguez and hopes the two can easily connect.
While Carson is excited to join Rodriguez, she herself is a two-time Dancing with the Stars champion.
She first earned the distinction with Alfonso Ribeiro during Season 19; Ribeiro now co-hosts Dancing With the Stars alongside Julianne Hough. The second time, she won season 34 alongside her partner, Robert Irwin.
Carson had originally joined DWTS as a member of the dance troupe in 2013, before becoming a pro on the show in season 18 a year later. Her partners over the years include Cody Simpson, Wayne Brady, and Frankie Muniz.

Guillermo Rodriguez Announced His 'DWTS' Casting in June
Guillermo Rodriguez confirmed his presence on 'Dancing with the Stars' season 35 on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' in June.
Earlier this year, Rodriguez confirmed himself to be a member of the upcoming Dancing with the Stars season 35 on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in June, per People.
At the time, when host Jimmy Kimmel jokingly asked him not to "lose a single adorable pound," Rodriguez replied, "I promise. If I lose five pounds, I’m gonna gain 10 pounds right away."
Other celebrity participants confirmed so far include Summer House standout Ciara Miller, The Traitors runner-up Maura Higgins, and Savannah Bananas star Jackson Olson.
The remaining celebrity contestants and professional dancers will be revealed on Good Morning America on September 2, Wednesday.

Witney Carson revealed that she is expecting her third baby with her husband, Carson McAllister.
On Good Morning America, Carson also confessed that she is expecting her third baby with her husband, Carson McAllister. The two are already parents to sons Leo, 5, and Jet, 3.
Talking to People about becoming a mother for the third time, Carson said she is "so incredibly grateful."
She added, "My family is growing. We’re so blessed to keep growing our family. I can’t wait to become a family of five."
