Love was in the air at the Happiest Place on Earth for Zooey Deschanel and boyfriend Jonathan Scott.
The lovebirds — who first met in 2019 — spent a fun day out with the New Girl star's children, Elsie Otter, 6, and Charlie Wolf, 4, on Sunday, September 26, at Disneyland. Scott appeared to take on dad duty during the crew's adventurous day, as he was seen keeping track of his girlfriend's youngsters and carrying them around the park.
Despite playing father of the year, it's unclear if the Property Brothers reality star is ready to become a step-father. The couple made their relationship Instagram Official last year, but tend to keep their romance on the down-low. And while they don't shy away from gushing over their significant other from time-to-time, a pal previously admitted Scott "still seems nowhere near proposing."
The insider pointed out "he and Zooey are doing great and he gets along fabulously with her kids," but claimed the handsome hunk is "leery about getting hitched again" after his 2007 marriage to Kelsy Ully came to an end after just two years. Meanwhile, Deschanel was also previously married to ex-husband Jacob Pechenik — with whom she shares Elsie and Charlie.
In fact, Deschanel and Scott were seen holding hands around the same time the actress and her baby daddy confirmed their split — but it was reported that they actually called it quits months before they made an announcement.
And while Deschanel and Scott appear to be going strong, Scott's twin brother and Property Brothers costar Drew Scott has, according to a source, expressed his concern with the speed of their relationship: “Drew’s worried [Jonathan] could end up losing her, especially now that she’s surrounded by a ton of eligible bachelors [as host of The Celebrity Dating Game]."
Drew — who married his wife, Linda Phan, in 2018 — "would hate for Zooey to be the one who got away just because Jonathan is too slow to commit!"
Whether or not he's planning on popping the question, it's clear Scott fits in perfectly with Deschanel and her little ones.

At one point, Scott was seen carrying Deschanel's young son on his shoulders, giving Charlie a better view of the Happiest Place on Earth.
Keeping her face hidden from the sun under her oversized hat, the brunette babe took Elsie on the Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters ride.
Deschanel made sure to keep her daughter close by as the two walked hand-in-hand around the park.
