Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard finally tied the knot—on TV, at least! The highly-anticipated episode of 19 Kids And Counting aired last night and the happy couple exchanged vows—and their first kiss!
Jill and Derick decided to do a first look with Jill in her dress before she walked down the aisle so they can share a moment together before saying “I do.”
“I’ve never seen you so gorgeous,” Derick told his bride. “I love you.” “You look so handsome,” Jill responded.
Before her walk down the aisle, Jill also spent time with her dad, who called her “the most beautiful bride ever.”
But he can’t keep up his strong face for long. “This is it. Jill’s going to be Jill Dillard from now on. I’m giving her away,” he said, crying and wiping tears.

Another tearful moment was when Derick’s mom, who was recently diagnosed with cancer, was able to make it to the ceremony.

Jill and Derick saved their first kiss for their wedding so it would be special—and didn’t even practice before! Looks like they didn’t need it!

“We’ve saved our first kiss for today because the physical side of our marriage is something we can add later and just want to get to know each other on a level beyond the physical,” Derick said.
Finally, some alone time without chaperones! The two high-tailed it out of the wedding for their fire moment of alone time!
Derick said his favorite part of the wedding was when they were officially Mr. and Mrs. Dillard.
The new couple gave a short speech thanking guests and everyone who helped and supported them.
As tradition, the couple cut the cake and the reception began!
“Overall our wedding was awesome,” Derick says. “It went better than expected,” Jill says. “I was a stress-free bride. It was amazing.” Congrats to the happy couple!
