Adele and husband Simon Konecki have split up after only two years of marriage. Read on for six things to know about their shocking breakup.
“Adele and her partner have separated,” the "Hello" singer's rep told Us Weekly in a statement on Friday, April 19. “They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment.”
The former couple share one son together, a 6-year-old named Angelo.
Adele, 30, and Simon, 45, went public with their relationship in January of 2012. She welcomed Angelo later on that year in October.

They wed years later in December 2016 but kept the news quiet for a couple of months. That changed when she called Simon her "husband" while accepting the Grammy award for Album of the Year in February 2017.
This was Adele's first marriage, Simon's second. He was previously married to stylist Clary Fisher from 2004 to 2008. They share a daughter together.
Perhaps Adele was celebrating her breakup last month when she was spotted at a popular gay bar in New York City with friend and actress Jennifer Lawrence.
