isn’t letting cancer get her down. Despite her diagnosis with Burkitt lymphoma, a form of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, in April, the former Dance Moms star is staying positive and looking towards the future as she continues treatment.
"She’s been very positive through the experience. Considering what she is going through, she is doing really well. She’s ready to get back at it in her life,” an insider told Entertainment Tonight.
"She has a good prognosis. Her future is very promising," the source shared. “This is a bump in the road. She'll come back stronger than ever after this.”
Plus, the source said Abby has no intention of giving up dancing. "She is going to be amazing. She’ll always dance and teach dance, that’s just who she is,” the insider dished.
While going through chemotherapy, — she began her third round in June — Abby has had plenty of friendly faces by her side. "She’s had a lot of visitors at the hospital and in rehab and she really enjoys the company. She has a lot of wonderful friends visiting her. She’s in touch with them all the time,” the source told the site.
Said another source, Abby is "focused and ready for the future." "Her mind is looking forward and working a million miles a minute on her next projects," the insider said, adding that pre-production for Dance Moms' eighth season has already begun.
