New couple alert! Adam Rippon and his boyfriend Jussi-Pekka Kajaala made their big red carpet debut this week after being "Instagram Official" for two months.
The Olympic bronze medalist and Dancing with the Stars champ arrived with his new beau at the 2018 TrevorLIVE gala in New York City on Monday. They both looked individually dashing in their dark-colored ensembles.
It was the first time the two were seen publicly together since they began dating in late 2017. "We met on Tinder while I was in Finland late last year and we kept in touch since then,” he told Entertainment Tonight. "We had been talking all through the holidays and the Olympics. We kept it pretty private but recently we decided to make it official."
The two became "Instagram Official" on April 2nd. Kajaala is also someone that Adam's mother, Kelly, approves of, as she called him a "perfect gentleman" during an interview at the Time 100 Gala.
Adam also posed with his fellow Olympian Gus Kenworthy on Monday night, who looked quite handsome in his tuxedo getup.
It's been a whirlwind year for Adam so far, as he took home the bronze medal for figure skating at the 2018 Winter Olympics, earned a spot on the Time 100 and just won the latest season of Dancing with the Stars with his partner Jenna Johnson. And now he can add a handsome new beau to all of that!
