Alec Baldwin wasn't the first celebrity to have an unflattering voicemail leak, nor was he the first to be kicked off a plane.
OK! NEWS: ALEC BALDWIN "EXTREMELY RUDE" TO AMERICAN AIRLINES CREW
The 30 Rock actor has now joined legions of other stars who never quite made their journey into the sky, including a supermodel, a socialite and a rock star.
Click through the gallery to see which of your favorite celebs made the list, who got what they deserved and who deserves an apology — or at least a complimentary hot towel and tea!
1. Alec Baldwin Kicked Off Plane Dec. 7
Alec Baldwin's recent spat with American Airlines caused quite a commotion after the '30 Rock' actor was booted from the plane for playing Words with Friends. American released a statement in which they explained that Alec was kicked off for being "extremely rude" and refusing to turn off his phone. Their argument would be flawless had the event not also been live-Tweeted by at least four other passengers who were allowed to remain onboard. RULING: Undecided.
2. John Rich Kicked Off Plane Dec. 7
John Rich, who shot to fame with "Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)", probably wishes he had chosen to travel by horseback on Dec. 4. The country star was booted from a Southwest flight going from Las Vegas to Nashville for reportedly being too drunk to fly. The worst part? It was a 10:50 a.m. flight! RULING: Deserved.
3. Billy Joel Armstrong Kicked Off Plane Dec. 7
Green Day frontman Billy Joel Armstrong was kicked off a Southwest Airlines flight in 2011 after a flight attendant approached him for the low level of his pant waistline. When the attendant wouldn't relent Billy snapped, "I'm just trying to get to my f***ing seat!" He was promptly removed from the plane. RULING: Undeserved.
4. Mo'Nique Kicked Off Plane Dec. 7
Comedian Mo'Nique blamed racism on her 2006 eviction from a United Airlines flight. While Mo'Nique was in first class, her hair stylist attempted to put the actress' hair dryer in the overhead bin near her own seat in coach. A fight soon errupted between the crew and Mo'Nique, with one flight attendant allegedly equating the beauty appliance with terrorism: "Tell your people that the next time they have an attitude, they are being thrown off. ... Since 9/11, we don't play around." Mo'Nique was soon after escorted off the plane to meet with police officers. RULING: Undeserved.
5. Sky Blu Kicked Off Plane Dec. 7

The oddest fight of 2010 goes to Sky Blu versus Mitt Romney, hands down. The pair got into a heated argument after Sky reclined his seat, upsetting the politician seated behind him. Air marshalls were eventually brought in to escort the "Party Rock Anthem" singer off the plane.
RULING: Undeserved.
6. Gerard Depardiue Kicked Off Plane Dec. 7
French actor Gerard Depardieu became a household name in Aug. after he was booted from a plane due to public urination. While waiting on the tarmac, Gerard was denied his request to use the bathroom until takeoff. He then decided an empty water bottle and the cabin aisle would make an appropriate substitute. The airline didn't seem to carry any harsh feelings toward the actor. "As you may have seen on the news, we are busy mopping the floor of one of our planes this morning," the Air France-KLM subsidiary Tweeted. "We'd also like to remind all passengers that our planes are fully equipped with toilet facilities." RULING: Deserved.
7. Josh Duhamel Kicked Off Plane Dec. 7
Josh Duhamel was booted from his plane in 2010 after the Las Vegas actor refused to turn off his BlackBerry. Josh was asked three separate times to follow procedures and upon the third request allegedly laughed at the flight attendant who had asked. Infuriated, the flight attendant called for backup and Josh was escorted off the plane. Ironically, the actor's rep said Josh had been texting about his annoyance at his flight's delay. RULING: Deserved.
8. Naomi Campbell Dec. 7
After discovering one of her bags had been lost, Naomi Campbell went into a rage on a 2008 British Airways flight. The supermodel refused to leave the plane voluntarily and police had to be called to escort her off. Naomi then kicked and spat at the officers. Eventually, she received 200 hours of community service for her tantrum. RULING: Deserved.
9. Ivana Trump Kicked Off Plane Dec. 7
Socialite Ivana Trump was kicked off a flight in 2009 after cursing at unruly children. Trump had been seated near a group of kids who — being kids — were not as quiet and disciplined as Ivana would have liked. Refusing to change seats, Ivana threw a fit and even used the F-word when referring to the tots. Ivana refused to exit the plane voluntarily and was eventually escorted off by law enforcement. RULING: Deserved.
10. Leisha Hailey Kicked Off Plane Dec. 7
'The L Word' actress Leisha Hailey was on a Southwest flight Sept. 26 when a flight attendant approached the actress and her girlfriend, Camila Grey. After witnessing the couple kissing, the crew member reminded them that they were on a "family" airline, sparking an angry, profanity-laced reaction. The airline claims it was their cursing, not their sexual preferences that got them kicked off. Then again, there never would have been cursing had their sexuality not been an issue. RULING: Undeserved.
