Andy Cohen’s life has been turned upside down ever since he became a father for the first time on Monday, February 4. The Watch What Happens Live host revealed who his newborn son’s godfather is two days later. Read on to find out who it is.
It would make sense that Andy would choose Anderson Cooper to be godfather to his son Benjamin given their longtime friendship.
He and Anderson have gone on tour together, and he even helped throw the new father a baby shower alongside Kelly Ripa and Sarah Jessica Parker.
But Anderson didn’t get the title! Turns out Andy chose his other friend, restaurateur Bruce Bozzi.
Bruce is the Vice President of the Palm Restaurant Group. Their Beverly Hills location played host to Andy’s Housewives-filled baby shower on Saturday, January 26.

It became a full circle moment for Bruce and Andy after the latter’s first child was welcomed via surrogate.
Bruce made Andy godfather to his daughter Ava back in November 2007, so Andy repaid the favor by making Bruce godfather to his son Benjamin.
“What a journey through life friendship takes us, and how lucky am I....” Andy wrote on his Instagram along with side-by-side photos of him with Bruce and their children.
