Since Brangelina’s divorce announcement there have been claims of a custody battle, family therapy sessions, and even an FBI investigation. However, both Brad and Angie have managed to completely stay out of the public eye amidst their divorce drama.
The same though can’t be said for their staff as the ex-couple’s former family bodyguard, Mike Billingham, gave a tell all interview in which he claimed he was “basically a father” to the couple’s six children, Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8.
“I could take the kids anywhere I wanted to on my own…I fathered them, basically,” Mike revealed.

This of course “hit a sore spot with Brad,” who “regrets relying so much on nannies and bodyguards,” an insider told Closer magazine.
“Brad would have loved to have taken the kids to the park or the beach any time he wanted but he knew they’d be chased by paparazzi, which would put the children at risk, so the security team would often take them instead,” the source revealed to the mag.
Mike’s comments couldn’t have come at a worse time for Brad as one source revealed that “He’s hit rock bottom following the split and is inconsolable.” So much so that the insider said Brad’s mom, Jane, is staying with him to help him get through this tough time. “Brad is struggling and is looking for people to turn to; he can’t stand waking up to an empty house,” the source admitted.
Angelina has reportedly been living in Malibu with the couple’s six children.
