Anna Kendrick Says 'A Simple Favor' Costar Blake Lively Is 'A Sweetheart' — With 'A Dark Side'

Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick's highly anticipated movie, A Simple Favor had its London and New York premieres in the last few days and the movie has fans buzzing. Anna revealed some interesting tidbits about her costar at the UK premiere yesterday so keep reading to find out more.

Anna said, "I mean, she's never evil but she does have a dark, funny side. So, it wasn't shocking because people think of her as a real sweetheart, which she is..."

She continued, "But it was definitely not a surprise to me because once you get to know her a little better, she'll definitely talk with the best of them."

Blake opened up about her dark character with talkRADIO. "It was like all the facades that I'd put up had just let go. So you guys got to see the real me. I'm just like a dark, horrible person and I got to let my flag fly. So there you go, the real me."

Their new mystery thriller follows the tale of a small town mommy blogger (played by Anna) who tries to solve the disappearance of her rich BFF.

The film has been receiving very positive reviews since its premiere on September 14.
