The original series was cancelled in December 2011 and finished its original run on January 13, 2012. HGTV announced in January that they were bringing the heartfelt series back in 2020. The network is planning to air 10 new episodes. Ty, 54, originally hinted at the series coming back in October 2018, and HGTV reportedly considered doing a revival of the show for some time.
According to People, more surprises in the series will be unveiled as the premiere date gets closer. It could be anyone’s guess what is in store for the revival.
Anthony has previously appeared in the films The Departed, Kangaroo Jack and Hoodwinked, along with the television series Black-Ish, The Bernie Mac Show and All About The Andersons. He also made appearances on Food Network’s Chopped, Iron Chef America and Carnival Cravings.
