Tragic Clues REVEALED In The Car Crushing Death Of ‘Star Trek’ Star Anton Yelchin

Anton Yelchin, 27, who is best known for playing Chekov in the recent Star Trek films, was killed in a fatal car collision early Sunday morning.

Reports claim that Yelchin was found dead after being pinned between his car and a brick mailbox on his property in Studio City, Cali.

Law enforcements say the car struck him after rolling backwards down his steep driveway.

But now new reports show that the jeep he was driving was recalled in April 2016 due to rollaway problems.

"Drivers thinking that their vehicle's transmission is in the PARK position may be struck by the vehicle and injured if they attempt to get out of the vehicle while the engine is running and the parking brake is not engaged," the report stated.

He was found dead around 1am by friends who had been alarmed that he didn’t show up for rehearsal.
