Former 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' Star Apollo Nida Spotted For The First Time Since Prison Release — See The Pics!
Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Apollo Nida was photographed for the first time on Sunday, June 2, since OK! exclusively reported his release from prison and subsequent transfer to a Philadelphia halfway house. The convicted felon was caught taking a walk in the neighborhood around his new digs with fiancee Sherien Almufti.
Apollo, 40, was released from prison and sent to live at a Philadelphia halfway house until October 15, 2019, prison records show.
He was sentenced to eight years behind bars for fraud after pleading guilty in May 2014. He allegedly laundered millions of dollars through fake bank accounts and cashed stolen checks before getting caught.
Apollo was married to RHOA star Phaedra Parks for seven years before they split in 2015. Their divorce was finalized in 2016. They share sons Ayden, 9, and Dylan, 6.
The father of two proposed to Sherien, 36, in November 2016 and she has been by his side throughout his incarceration.
Sherien frequently gushes about her future husband on Instagram. "If your man ain’t sending you emails with the subject line 'THE BEST WOMAN EVER' dump him!!! Love this man to pieces, no one has ever made me feel so special. EVERRRRR! Forever MY KING," she captioned a screenshot from her beau on May 16.
The couple have yet to reveal if they've set a wedding date now that he's a free man.
