Ariana Grande Apologizes For Saying ‘White Women Talking About Our Weaves Is How We’re Gonna Solve Racism’

Ariana Grande has issued a public apology regarding a now-deleted comment she wrote that read as "White women talking about our weaves is how we're gonna solve racism". Read on for all the details.
Ariana's comment was in reference to her new song "7 Rings" that dropped on Friday.
A black woman quoted Ariana's line from the song "You like my hair? Gee, thanks, just bought it," on her own Instagram Stories.
Ariana reposted it on her own IG Stories and added "White women talking about our weaves is how we're gonna solve racism".

The pop singer deleted the comment however screenshots of it were taken and spread on the internet.
Ariana apologized on social media for the comment, saying "I think her intention was to be like... yay a white person disassociating the negative stariotype (SP) that is paired with the word 'weave'".
"However I'm so sorry if my response was out of pocket or if it came across the wrong way," she continued. "thanks for opening the conversation and like... to everyone for talking to me about it. it's never my intention to offend anybody."
