The singer, who has complained about the condition of her hair in the past, is not on the road to recovery when it comes to her mane and is actually slightly balding!

“Her hair is a mess — what’s left of it, anyway,” an insider on her style team said. “It’s destroyed at the ends, and the reason she scrapes it back into a high ponytail all the time is because it’s kind of patchy on top.”

Ariana has, of course, brought up the topic of her damaged hair—from years of bleaching and styling—herself, tweeting: “It looks absolutely ratchet and absurd when I let it down,” she posted, calling it “difficult... to have to wear more fake hair than every drag queen on earth combined.”

And the condition has not yet improved, according to the source, who said “she’s scared that if she tries another style, the bald areas will show.”
