Balding Beauty! Ariana Grande Is Going Bald, Says Hairstylist

Ariana Grande’s high ponytail functions more than just being her signature look—it’s literally the only hairstyle she can achieve because she’s losing her hair, one of her stylists told OK! Magazine

The singer, who has complained about the condition of her hair in the past, is not on the road to recovery when it comes to her mane and is actually slightly balding!

“Her hair is a mess — what’s left of it, anyway,” an insider on her style team said. “It’s destroyed at the ends, and the reason she scrapes it back into a high ponytail all the time is because it’s kind of patchy on top.”

Ariana has, of course, brought up the topic of her damaged hair—from years of bleaching and styling—herself, tweeting: “It looks absolutely ratchet and absurd when I let it down,” she posted, calling it “difficult... to have to wear more fake hair than every drag queen on earth combined.”

“The only way to fix it would be to shave it off and start again. But she’s not going to do that,” the insider said, adding she will keep her perma-pony in for the foreseeable future. “Without extensions in, it’s bad. Don’t expect to see her with a new ’do anytime soon.”
